A Hybrid Spatial–Analytical Network Process Model for Groundwater Inventory in a Semi-Arid Hard Rock Aquifer System—A Case Study

Growing agricultural, industrial, and residential needs have increased the demand for groundwater resources. Targeting has become a challenging endeavour because of complex interplay between varying climatic, geological, hydrological, physiographic elements. This study proposes hybrid RS, GIS, ANP method to delineate zones. The resource was evaluated using seven surface hydrological six subsurface aquifer parameters. analytic network process model used determine global priority vectors each subclass. Surface potential maps were created by assigning resulting weights spatially integrating them. Later, an integrated map combining validation obtained results water level data demonstrates that accurately predicted area under 172.94 km2 good potential.
